Just An Update :)

Just a friendly update on what’s happening with we Eggheads! Here’s the rundown, thrown at you bullet style 🙂

Moving right along on the sale of our house! In case you haven’t heard, our place sold just 24 hours after listing it (read THAT story), and we’ve been working away at everything that goes on when your house is under contract. We were extremely thankful for a decent home inspection, with only a few minor repairs needed, and some termites who decided the garage looked inviting. If everything goes as planned, we close June 19th!
Our fearless launch team leaders, the Almaguer family, made their move to St. Augustine! We sure miss them here, but the days are flying by, and we’ll be joining them before we know it. Now that they are there, it makes everything so much for real and exciting for us. This is for real, y’all! You can read more here or here.
Jeff is continuing his job search. So far he’s interviewed at 2 different schools, both seemed very interested in him! Unfortunately, no hiring can be done until positions for next year are posted by the county, so he’ll have to wait until then to apply and do an “official” interview. He’s also open to any other leads, so if anyone has information on employment in the St. Augustine area (in education or otherwise), please let us know. Check out Jeff’s website!
Kindness and generosity seem to be flying at us from everywhere! A friend put together a website for Jeff that has really helped in his job search. A contractor offered to install a replacement window in our house for FREE. Another friend in the heating and air business is taking time out of his schedule to help us with a needed repair. Our realtor’s mother just so “happens” to also be an agent in St. Augustine, so she is helping us search for a house to rent there. Holy Cow! We are humbly thankful that God has put it in the hearts of each of these people to help in some way.
